The feeling of hunger is to ensure our survival. It is not an impediment to us looking and feeling good.
When these hunger hormones, that create the sensation of hunger are triggered (a complicated electro-chemical process that takes place in the body) through eating less, it’s only a matter of time when we are binging and most likely telling ourselves that tomorrow will be different- will start again tomorrow- but “I can’t do it today”.
Our bodies are hard-wired to survive, and going on a diet that involves any kind of caloric restriction or change, flips a switch, alerting our brain: “danger- go into survival mode now”.
This is totally subconscious reaction- below our awareness.
At this point our diets fail. Over and over again. Habitual.

Though there are several other factors, eliminating the excruciating stress of “being hungry” all the time, is at the center of it all, in my experience.

It is simple and easy to do with some minimal planning
I’ve been on low fat (in the 90’s) and low/no carb diets (in 2004/05) and had some success with these. But never felt good. Lethargic, for low fat, comes to my memory for some reason, and with no carb, it just didn’t feel right to me.
Through thinking, some research, and persistent experimentation, I have put together a simple 4 step process that works.
I’ve gotten great results
This isn’t me. I’m way better looking lol.
The results are sustainable and simple to maintain.
I’m happy to share this with you because of how easy it really is, and the belief anybody can do this. (with doctor’s approval of course)

But there is one caveat: You have to acquire the mindset needed, in the beginning, to get started and do it until it is a habit.
Consider this mindset as the scaffolding on a masterpiece your creating and after your finished you can take it down and won’t have to think about it anymore.
CAUTION: THIS DIET WON’T RESONATE WITH EVERYONE AND THAT’S OK. ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE A HARDCORE PALEO OR LOW CARB FAN. I’M JUST LAYING OUT WHAT WORKS FOR ME AS A MODEL YOU CAN EMULATE.
I think of cake
Most diets give you all the ingredients you need: flour, sugar, eggs, etc. and that’s good.
But mixing them in the proper amounts and the proper steps is the key. If not, it flops!
There are steps to take in the right order if you want successful weight loss.
To some degree I resisted each of the four steps at some point.
If you have ever said at one point: “I would never eat raw fish- ever”, and now your a sushi lover, you know what I mean!
You too, may have the same reaction to some steps in the blueprint and that’s OK.
Hopefully the desire to be in great shape and look great will get you through this barrier.
