Drink a glass of water.

Get in a comfortable place on the floor, or on a mat with your bowl and mallet close by.

Make sure you wear comfortable clothing without buttons, zippers or jewelry.

Take a deep breath and relax.  Focus on your chakra’s ( bodies energy centers) if you like,  letting your intuition guide you.

Gently strike the bowls and then rub the accompanying mallet in a circular motion against the bowl’s rim.

Sense when you’re finished.  For example, some professionals give their clients hour long sessions, once a week for several weeks in a row, with tune-ups throughout the year.  Experiment and decide what’s best for you.  Maybe daily for several minutes, if that best fits your time frame and lifestyle.

Many experts who work with the chakra’s and the bodies energy system, recommend doing a tune-up/cleaning daily, which usually only last several minutes, if that.
